CV-Library has focused on candidate usability from day one and improvements are constantly made on the website in order to fulfil the ever changing needs of UK jobseekers.
Gone are the wasted hours searching for the perfect job from your phone only to find you have to log in from a computer in order to apply anyway. CV-Library’s new mobile app enables jobseekers to search and actually apply for jobs on the go.
“We’ve had a mobile app on the market for over a year but until now we had nothing to shout about. The launch of this new app is important, not only because its brand new design reflects the usability of our website but because it completes the jobseekers journey. Our candidates can now search and apply for jobs through the mobile app” says Lee Biggins, Managing Director.
CV-Library has focussed on candidate usability from day one and improvements are constantly made on the website in order to fulfil the ever changing needs of UK jobseekers. Launching the new version of their app speeds up the application process and gives candidates ‘on the go’ the same opportunity as others to apply immediately.
The new app was designed and built alongside AllTheTopBananas.com but it is hosted by CV-Library. This means all data is in real time so the moment a new vacancy is posted on the CV-Library website it will also appear on the mobile app. The new version was created in order to make the candidate journey easier and more intuitive.
Once downloaded all jobseekers can search the 50,000 jobs listed on CV-Library.co.uk, save search results, shortlist favourites, email jobs to friends and edit their cover letter. Further to this, the updated version allows registered candidates to apply directly to any job vacancies from the app. Following this app innovation CV-Library will be launching a mobile-friendly version of their site. This will allow all UK candidates with mobile internet access to search and apply for jobs away from their PC.
CV-Library’s mobile app is available on iPhone, iPad and Android and can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store or Android Marketplace.
