A study by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy has suggested that workers need to take more physical activity after it found that more than two out of five get out of breath walking up stairs or running for a bus.
The CSP polled 2,000 adults, which revealed that women were more likely than men to admit that simple everyday activities left them out of puff. More than 150 physiotherapists are today visiting workplaces across the country to encourage those they meet to adopt a healthier lifestyle for what has been named Workout at Work Day.
