I learned on Wordperfect (before it was part of the Corel package). I've used the Lotus Smartsuite working for IBM, and now I'm on MS office.
Personally, I think Lotus notes is easier to use than MS Outlook, but they are basically all tools, like pencil and paper. Besides, when you always get a chance to learn something new, you keep your mind active and agile (or so they say...)
