Hello all,
Happened onto this site while searching about Administrative Assistant. I have a interview later this week as a Adm Assistant to Risk Management Department within local hospital!!! Never thought my resume would be considered but applied as I have transferrable skills honed by working within hospital Medical Records Department as Legal Correspondence Clerk in which one of my functions was compiling patient health records for Risk Management that were potential litigation matters or that facility/physician was cited in a legal case of malpractice or other matters. A call out to those Administrative Assistants within healthcare if you could please reflect back on when you first landed a job as Administrative Assistant what was the most scariest aspect of the job that you had to conquer and how did you conquer it? What was the training process like? Were you coached in those first few days/weeks or shown your desk and basic rundown of duties and left to figure it out on your own? Just want to get a rough idea of what to expect if I am selected for job.
Thanks for any input
