1  General Discussion / Admins 4 Admins / Ideas requested for helping our travelers with travel troubles during off-hours on: February 22, 2018, 10:59:43 pm
Recently, my manager mentioned that he'd like to figure out how we can help our company's travelers when they're having travel issues during off-hours. He's great about respecting work-life balance, and said that any of us who coordinate travel need to be able to go home at 5:00, and not worry about these issues - but the traveler still needs help, and it could be in the middle of the night.

We use Concur for most of our travel arrangements, so in a lot of cases, the traveler can contact them for assistance. With that being said, there are times when one or more pieces of a trip (i.e., air, ground transport, hotel) may have been booked outside of Concur, so the traveler wouldn't be able to contact them for assistance.

Do you have a suggestion(s) for taking care of our travelers? We care about them, and want to make it easy for them to travel on our company's behalf!

Hello, all!

I'm researching ASAP's new PACE certification, and would love to have your input on the potential ROI of the program.

I don't currently have any specific certifications - everything has been learned on the job over the years, so I'm also interested in hearing whether having a certification in general has been valuable for anyone else.

Thanks so much!

That experience just made my day!  Smiley I miss my Spirograph, too.

If you're really looking for the original experience, they've started selling the actual kits again! Just Google "Spirograph" . . .

Be aware of what your boss is working on, so you can determine what additional information/steps may be needed.

This is just my opinion, so please take it with a grain of salt.  Smiley

I think that handing out a door hanger with your business cards attached will detract from the skills and experience that you'll be bringing to the table. I've read many of your posts, and can say that your interview(s) will easily be based upon your merits. Save the door hangers for other fun activities!

Good luck!
