TWO cavities!

Ugh I haven't had a cavity in 15 years, I only have two fillings, so I really shouldn't be whining.  I get to go Wednesday and have fillings.  I have to admit to being slightly terrified.  This too shall pass.  My hubbie was no help he asked if I have been flossing correctly - huh?  I must be doing something right the last 15 years!  And he won't go with me - I went with him for his colonoscopy!  Men!

Awww I'm sorry. I'm a big chicken about dental mouth pain too, so I understand... Hugs. Hope it all goes well! See if you can wear headphones and listen to music. Helps a lot with the stress.

For myself, I am a biter (the dentist is permanently at risk from being bitten if he/she does something 'unexpected'/'unnecessary') - pure terror on my part!  (10 guesses what condition my teeth are in! )

I survived.  Acutally he is really good at giving shots, I didn't feel either one of them.  I was numb for a about five hours and worried about drooling on documents!  I'm going to go back and have sealants put on my non filled molars.  I had them done a long time ago and I think they really helped to prevent cavities.  Insurance won't pay and it's $50 a tooth.  I'm investing in me and no more drill time!
PS my hubbie just went for his check up and drat it came back fine, not that I wished cavities on him.

I just saw this and wanted to point out that my DH has always had great teeth all his life, but in recent years he's had issues with acid reflux.  The result?  Cavities in his lower molars. 

Just putting out there, if all of a sudden you're having cavities when you haven't had a history of it.....ask yourself how often you have heartburn.....

I don't think I have ever had heartburn - the dh on the other hand...
