...and prayers. I am interviewing tomorrow (Wednesday) for the job of my dreams. If I get the job, I'll let you know more about it. Suffice to say, it is in an area that I absolutely love and have wanted to get on board for a very, very long time. Please send those good vibes to east Tennessee!
Thanks.

Good Luck from Texas! But is there such a thing as the perfect job? My friend has been looking for it since 1968 and she still hasn't found it.

Thank you....Thank you....Thank you!
I could feel the love during the entire interview yesterday. And, yes, this is the perfect job for me. I don't want to spoil it if I don't get it, so suffice to say that I would be in Big Orange Heaven if I am offered this opportunity!
I should know by Tuesday, if not sooner...she had one more interview today (Thursday) and wanted to talk to her boss but I really felt she would have offered it to me on the spot except for the scheduled interview.
Anyway, keep thinking those positive thoughts!
BTW, I have already been composing my resignation letter in my mind...I can't wait to get out of here!

Ladies, thanks for keeping me in your prayers. I should have written last week but I was very despondent about the situation and just didn't want to talk to anyone.
Anyway, after my great interview on 8/29, I waited and got the call on 9/5. I didn't get the job but was thisssss close. What was the job? Director of Basketball Operations for the University of Tennessee Lady Vols. Pat Summitt called me at home on Wednesday morning to let me know that she had talked with Joan (Cronan, Women's Athletic Director) and Micki (DeMoss), Holly (Warlick), and Al (Brown), her assistant coaches. They decided to go with a gal who had been in the program as a graduate assistant and who planned to go into coaching, thus giving her more experience on the administrative level. It was my dream job, involving lots of travel, public relations, etc. Oh, well...I guess that the Man upstairs just didn't feel it was right for me.
But, thanks again for all the good vibes!!!! I may need them again someday and I search for that perfect job!

Well if this gal that got the job is going into coaching, that means the position will open up again some day. Maybe it's just going to take a year or so for this job to be your perfect job.
Thanks for the update, and sorry to hear that you didn't make it... Keep your chin up, it might happen later on.

Sorry for your disappointment Judy. CountriGal expressed my thoughts exactly. This job may one day be yours, but not just yet. Keep the faith.

Yes, it may come my way at the end of the season...or be open again this time next year! I'll keep my eyes and ears open. Thanks for the support, ladies!
