This just in...

The other threads were getting long so thought I would post this in a new one.
One of my co-workers just told me that she was watching t.v. in the breakroom just now.
They have found one of the cockpits to the highjacked planes (she didn't say which) and there is a body inside it. The person is not wearing a captain's uniform.
Hopefully this means that they are closer to finding out who did this by a) identifying who the ununiformed body is, and;
b) if they find a black box they can review the tape.

Here's hoping that this piece of the puzzle will go a long way into solving this mystery!

I just heard that they found 5 firefighters in an SUV, two were able to walk away and all 5 are okay.

RadarO~
My sister just sent this to me. Was just annouced on the radio.
"In New York, meanwhile, hopes of a miraculous rescue were dashed. Fire department officials said initial reports that indicated five firefighters had been rescued were false.
Despite earlier confirmation from police and hospital officials, fire department officials said the confusion began after rescuers on Thursday fell down a steep pile of debris from the collapsed twin towers of the World Trade Center and landed underground. When they were rescued, others at the scene misinterpreted the event."
Just thought you would like to know.

I guess we are hoping so much to find survivors that we grasp at any good news. Thanks for setting the record straight.
