Co Workers That Take Advantage
«

Would you tell your manager about co wokers that come in late, leave early, take lots of smoke/bathroom breaks and walk out of the office for private phone calls. I can't see how these people feel good about all the time they waste! You would think they have some work ethics. I started to mention something and stopped. I don't want to appear I am complaining. What would you do?

We have a few in our office that fit the taking advantage profile. Unless asked, I just let them bury their own grave. At some point someone will see what they are doing. We have one person who spends more time smoking then working. I can't believe management doesn't notice. If I am asked by my boss, I would let him know exactly what is going on, but if not asked... this is one issue I won't volunteer.

We have someone like that. I let them dig their own grave.

Unless they report to you, I would keep out of it. There may be things going on behind the scenes that you are not aware of.
