I watched it too Gee, and was very awed by it all. I just got annoyed by the constant references to the "first african-american" president. Don't get me wrong, I am genuinely elated that there is a black president finally but his potential and ability will be a bigger measure of success than his colour.
As I say I do understand the historic importance of his colour, but now focus on what he can do and make the changes!
