Ethics question
«

Hypothetical situation: Your company gives annual merit increases. You are offered a title change and raise. Your supervisor asks, if because of your raise, would you be willing to give up your merit increase, so other co-workers could get a larger merit increase. Would you do it?

Nope. My pay increase have nothing to do with others. If they deserve one they should get it but I should not have to give up mine so they can get a bigger increase. The supervisor is wrong to ask. Pay increases and amounts should be between an employee and the company only.

I am going to disagree with the majority... just kidding! I would not share what I earned the right to get, each person should get a fair share and what they deserve. If a person did better than me, so be it they get their raise, I wouldnt expect them to give up some of theirs for me!
