Do you have any of the reference manuals on your desk? If so which is your favorite? Do those in the UK use the same manuals or do you have any other reference manuals? If you do use the same, do they change to UK spelling? (one of those make me go hmm???? questions)

Administrative Assistant's and Secretary's Handbook
The New Office Professional's Handbook
Complete Office Handbook: Third Edition

Sue France looks to have a book coming out in a few weeks. It looks like it will be a good one. I think I will contact her and see if she wants to let us know what it will be about!

mmm now I am stumped ... I don't have reference manuals as such on my desk - I have mindmapping books and the Tao of Pooh ... I do have the First Aid Manual. I tend to go for more generic business books like Maverick (Ricardo Semler) ...

I'll try and find out the answer to your hmm???? question from sneeking a look at colleagues' manuals!

Maybe Sue could be persuaded to arrange for us to have a few review copies in return for a review on DeskDemon? just a thought ...

I have the New Office Professional's Handbook but find it is a big dust gatherer. With DeskDemon and the internet, I really don't need it. All the information is available easier through a Google search.

I agree, we have all three somewhere sitting around. I don't think I have ever opened any of them.
