Prior to that, as CMO, he was instrumental in developing and executing print and online campaigns and marketing-sales activity for a fashion design company helping the company to develop its on-line business from the ground up.

West earned his Bachelors of Science degree in economics from Loyola University in Chicago and Master's degree from Princeton University's Department of Politics where he was also a Ph.D. Candidate. He taught at several universities and colleges prior to turning his career attention to the national and international business sector.
