But there are reasons to be positive in 2007. The need to tackle global warming and its effects is filtering more and more into the popular consciousness; there now seems to be a consensus that something needs to be done, even if the means to do so is in debate. The coming of a new year is always marked by questions of what’s come before and of thoughts of the future.
