Terms & Conditions

  1. No purchase necessary. The competition is only open to DeskDemon users aged 18+, office professionals only, resident in the UK and Republic of Ireland. The competition is not open to employees (or members of their families) of DeskDemon, Newell RubbermaidUK Services Ltd , their subsidiaries, agents or anyone connected with the competition.
  2. Your personal details may be used by DeskDemon to contact you in regards to this or other promotion, however your personal details will NOT be disclosed to Newell Rubbermaid UK Services Ltd or any other third parties with the exception of the winners' details.
  3. The competition is to win an IPod Nano 8 GB. There are 3 Ipod Nano to be won.
  4. The competition starts on 6th September 2012 and will run until 11th November 2012 at GMT 1700 hours. No entries will be accepted after this date.
  5. To enter the competition you need to submit a drawing using the tools on http://deskdemon.com/pages/sharpie/drawing
    • The best drawing each month will be selected by DeskDemon
    • Each entrant can post multiple drawings throughout the competition for a chance to win
    • There will only be one monthly prize per winner. The same winner cannot win more than one prize (same name, address, email address, IP address)
  6. The winner(s) will be notified by email or telephone by DeskDemon within 14 days of the selected winning drawings
  7. The winner has 21 days after being contacted to respond to DeskDemon if return contact is not made within that time period the prize will be forfeited without exception.
  8. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, is subject to change, and is non refundable, non exchangeable, and non transferable.
  9. NewellRubbermaid Service Co Ltd DeskDemon reserves the right without liability to withdraw, amend or supersede this promotion at any time it believes, in its sole discretion, that this promotion has been compromised in any way, is not capable or is likely not to be capable of being conducted fairly or as specified within these Terms & Conditions, due to events beyond its control (including, without limitation, a virus, a computer bug, automated voting or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the promotion).
  10. Proof of sending entries is not proof of receipt and DeskDemon does not accept any responsibility for incomplete or illegible entries. No responsibility will be taken for lost entries.
  11. The name of the prize winner may be obtained by written request by sending an SAE to: DeskDemon.com Limited, Terminal House, Station Approach, Shepperton, TW178AS.
  12. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with these rules may be disqualified. The Promoter reserves the right to check the validity of any entry and the identity of any Winner. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are incomplete, lost, delayed, defaced, damaged, wrongly delivered or not received for whatever reason, illegible or otherwise unreadable entries
  13. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall limit in any way the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence. Subject to that, the Promoter shall have no liability for: (a) technical problems of any kind which may limit or prevent any person's participation in the Competition; (b) any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the allocation of the prize, or (c) any other events beyond the Promoter's control that may cause the Competition to be disrupted or corrupted or may lead to loss or damage of prizes in transit to the Winner.
  14. By entering this promotion, participants agree to be bound by these terms and that the decision of the Promoter is final and binding in all matters relating to this promotion.
  15. This promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
