In the North West, Business Skills Northwest, a team within the NWDA, works to provide employers and employees with access to a comprehensive business support network. It has direct responsibility for the region's Business Link services and its vision is "to raise productivity and economic competitiveness in the North West by stimulating enterprise, skills development, innovation and opportunity for all."

The dedicated team at Business Skills Northwest are working closely with other delivery partners in the region, such as the Learning and Skills Councils and Job Centre Plus to meet its vision.
