The London Skill Commission is the strategic association of key agencies involved in the planning, delivery and support of employment, training and labour market policy. It helps to improve the chances of people in work and those seeking work, as well as assisting with employers' workforce development needs.
The Strategic Unit's London Analytical Report shows that the forecast share of London Employment to 2010 is due to increase from 50% to 55% for London's highly skilled workers. Medium and low skilled worker's share of the market is going to decrease to 45%. There will be a sharp growth in associate professional employment such as personnel, trainers, sales reps, lawyers, financial analysts, nurses and lecturers.
The message is: get training and constantly update and boost your skills level.
