Pardon me for boasting, but this is the BEST review I've had in all my years of working....here's an excerpt...

"Didface has done a superb job this year.  She has shown great initiative in organizing and systematizing our operations (ed. I created them from scratch!), and continues to function independently and with great skill.  In a small office, Didface has assumed many important and substantive functions (beyond her job description) that have allowed us all to function more efficiently.  She has become an accomplished writer, and is skilled at organizing and presenting many kinds of information in a thorough and usable manner (ed. translation:  I kick butt at spreadsheets and charts).  She is also tremendously supportive to the rest of our team.

Didface's work ethic is especially strong.  She is respected by her peers and colleagues for her adaptability, for her willingness to do more than her fair share, and for her good nature.  Furthermore, Didface is seen as someone who does what needs to get done, but always looks for ways to improve the work product, or the process by which it is produced.

Of course, after the major layoffs earlier this year, "there's no money" to upgrade my postion (that's the upper echelon's decision, not bossie's -- in his words, "that stinks!"), but the way it was written, it makes the case for when the purse strings are loosened........

I got an unexpected pay rise recently and it is really nice to be appreciated for everything I have done and continue to do.

Way to go! I always say there's no such thing as indispensible these days but you may be coming close!
