Title: Another word for groundbreaking? Post by: Susan V on December 20, 2002, 04:59:53 pm We are to begin renovation of a building that will be our new headquarters building. We are planning a "groundbreaking" ceremony and reception but don't want to call it a "groundbreaking". I looked in my Thesaurus and couldn't come up with anything. I would also like the phrase to be kind of catchy, if you know what I mean. Any ideas?

If it is renovation, then why don't you call it 'Renovation Ceremony'? ![]() ![]() Naeem in Pakistan |
