Title: Didn't Get Lost... Post by: emiliea1a on November 27, 2002, 09:22:47 am Hello again! Thanks all of you who took the time to welcome me to the boards after my first post, over a week ago! Where DOES the time go!? I wanted to apologize for "drive-by posting" - I didn't intend to disappear and ignore those who responded. Suffice to say things are crazy for me, beyond just being out of work, and last week I just reached a boiling point and had to take a break. No job hunting, no web surfing, no nothing. Just me and a stack of books I've been meaning to read. I got out and about town too....yay for free museum admission on Tuesdays!
Anyway, I've sent my resume for feedback to those of you who welcomed that. I appreciate whatever perspective your fresh eyes can give. I do customize it to target specific skills based on the job I'm applying for, but I've sent you the "Foundation" document I work from. Be ruthless. I can take criticism and anything that might jumpstart things is ok by me. Off to read a few more threads before I get some sleep. Happy Thanksgiving to the US readers/posters. Emilie in Chicago |
