Why is it they will hire a recent college grad with a Masters degree in the study of the tsetse fly with no admin experience over an admin professional with 20+ years experience who can hit the ground running? Money? You are a "cute young" thing? More interested in planning partying with your friends than doing the "boring" aspects of the job? This is what I am competing with.
Also, why do some people think being an admin is easy? Chikky feeling better and getting off the soapbox and returning to lurkdom.
