Taken from The Spork FAQ page: 1. What is a "spork?" A spork is an unusual dining implement that is part spoon, part fork. Basically, it is a spoon with tines on the end, suitable for using as a fork, while still having a spoon portion. It is the utensil of choice for eating cole slaw, potato salad, and many other take-out foods. Please don't confuse sporks with woons, those wooden planks you get with ice cream and "malts" at the ballgame/fairs/etc. Woons are not sporks, and are in fact just a cheap ripoff of a spoon. http://www.sonic.net/~ian/Spork/spork.faq.html Then again, maybe it's an army? Taken from The Imperial Spork Army Page: Welcome civilian to the Imperial Spork Army. As you probably already know The ISA is the most powerful military in the world. http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Cauldron/1006/ISA.html OK, no, it's definitely a utensil. Taken from SPORKITSU: But Master Sporker, what is a spork exactly? Ah! I am glad you asked! Simply put, a spork is a certain kind of combination of a fork and a spoon commonly having 3-4 prongs. http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Olympus/1810/whatisaspork/ ![]() ![]() winkiebear Deskdemon Editorial Board Member Title: Re: Test your web search ability..... It has 2 definitions, with the primary one being an eating utensil. The other definition is not a definition at all but is an acronym: "SPORK Secret Protectors of Revolutionary Knowledge" CountriGal Deskdemon Editorial Board Member Title: Re: Test your web search ability..... Post by: mcbethers on September 26, 2002, 06:13:31 pm Are often found in camping - and are invariably useless for eating. The tines are too short for using as a fork and liquids don't stay in the bowl. There is a tendency to stab yourself by accident.

I hope that your igloo didn't melt. Then you would have to chase the huskies all over the tundra. ![]() Title: Re: Test your web search ability..... Post by: ozbound on September 26, 2002, 10:57:43 pm Well, when I looked up "Spork" at "Secret Protector of Revolutionary Knowledge." I had no idea SPORKS were so important...
Of course, to me a "Spork" will always be that curious but handy plastic spoon/fork utensil most commonly handed out by Kentucky Fried Chicken establishements, to eat their overly-gravied mashed potatoes with. And, ah, here it is! At last, a "normal" Spork-fan site: http://members.tripod.com/~sporkk/ Title: Re: Test your web search ability.....
