Title: Cell phones on desks Post by: susan silva on May 24, 2017, 08:26:07 pm Is it more acceptable to have a phone on your desk and take a text message? How has it changed (or maybe it hasn't for you) over the years.

I keep my phone on my desk at all times. AND my company provides employees a cell phone which can be used for personal calls/texts as well as business needs.

My boss texts me and calls my cell phone all the time. She is out of the office a lot, but... there is a policy no cell phones in the office. This is an old policy and I think the times are changing. Maybe.. .that is something I will think of a "how" to implement and offer and idea and a solution.. hmmm! I like it!
