This is a really great book for any one starting their career. I think for the higher level veteran it, well it is a good fresher for you. This book is packed full of tips you can put to use right away. from mirroring the boss' behavior, dealing with interruptions and how to become a valuable member of the team. Each section can has something to take away.

I would recommend this book.

I would agree with the eturtle's comments. Though most of the book was a good refresher, in the end I DID take something (of value) out of every chapter. In the end that makes the book very worth the read. I would also like to add that the book kept me engaged. It held my interest and didn't bore me like many business books do.

I read this book 4 years ago when I assumed this role. It was a life saver I immedicately became a Joan Burge fan. She has a website, Officedynamics.com that is packed full of great information.
